Tata Motors is all set to launch its MPV Tata Aria to compete with Toyota Innova , Mahindra Xylo, and Maruti Suzuki's upcoming MPV Maruti R3. We have already shared a news about unveiling of Tata Aria at the Auto Expo 2010 in Delhi.

Tata Motors has recently got its website up for involving audience for this launch though interactive online car building competition. Tata Nano, the cheapest car in the world, which had gone to a full swing production few months back in Sanand in Gujarat may soon steal the title of the second best seller car on India in the year 2011. This is not my prediction but the stats and research of JD Power.

At present the best selling car in Indian is Maruti Alto by Maruti Suzuki and the second best seller is Hyundai i10 by Hyundai India. The third place is currently help by Tata Indica. This whole equation may change next year owing to the full swing production and ready availability of the Tata Nano in the coming year. JD Power expects that Tata Nano will come at the second place in sales after the Maruti Alto, thus replacing Hyundai i10 as the second best seller.
