Toyota Etios Launch On 1st December – Specifications Features & Review

The Indian automobile market is on a roll right now with a series of new launches due every two or three days. Most of the automobile majors are trying to introduce their new models around this festive season since the buyers wait for such occasions to head to the nearest dealerships and grab a vehicle for themselves.

In January 2010 at the 2010 Auto Expo the company had formally announced of the Toyota Etios's introduction into the Indian market but with no information being provided on the car's price and launch date. But now things have gone better for the brand as the official launch date for the launch of Toyota Etios Sedan has been declared as 1st December 2010 whereas the Toyota Etios Hatback will be introduced after 3 months.

The car will be offered in a 1.2 Litre MPFI Petrol engine hatchback variant and a 1.5 Litre MPFI Petrol engine sedan variant which will compete against most of the small cars and sedans present in the market.

For quite some time it was believed that Skoda's plans of introducing the New Skoda Fabia, Skoda Octavia and Skoda Yeti were scheduled for the year 2012, but evidently the plans have been rescheduled owing to the fact that, the earlier you jump into the competition, the more are the chances of you winning it.

For our Indian Automobile Industry aggression is the key to success and the degree of aggression depends on the effective launches you have down the line because at the end of the day the products are the only things that matter. Skoda has been quiet for a pretty long time but now its ready to set the market on fire. With the Skoda Fabia already launched and announcement made on replacement of Skoda Octavia soon, the launch date of Skoda Yeti has also been declared.

Mr. Thomas Kuehl, Board Member & Director, Sales & Marketing, ŠkodaAuto India, at the launch of the Fabia said that Yeti will hit the Indian roads within the next four weeks and as promised 18th November is the chosen date for the launch of this new SUV. Regarding the price it is believed to be priced around Rs 15 Lakh but still no confirmation is there.

Skoda Octavia Replacement Coming Soon By SkodaAuto

Skoda, one of the best brands which offers extremely well built and powerful cars is all set to make a replacement for one of its existing models. The car which we are talking about is the most adored one after the iconic Mitsubishi Lancer. Skoda Octavia is the car which we are talking about and we all know how popular the car is in our country.

This premium sedan is damn powerful and offers a number of cool features with a price tag affordable enough for most of the upper middle class families. The news is that a top official has disclosed recently that Skoda is developing a car to replace the current Skoda Octavia.

SkodaAuto India Sales and Marketing Director Thomas Kuehl told the reporters "We are developing a completely new car, to be successor of Octavia…It will be a ar also positioned in the ‘C’ segment," He further added,"The company engineers are developing the car at their headquarters and it is likely to be rolled out in India by the second half of 2011,"

But that is not the end, the company is also ready with the Skoda Yeti SUV which will be out on the Indian roads within a few weeks. Refusing to disclose more he added, "Skoda Yeti was displayed in the Auto Expo held (in Delhi) this year… It will be launched in four weeks time.We haven’t announced the price of the SUV vehicle… Yet we have already got more than 1,000 bookings,"

The plans are good and we expect the replacement to be more efficient and powerful than the Octavia with a price tag well around the current one.
