2011 Honda CBR250R Promotional Video

Posted: 28 Oct 2010 10:00 PM PDT

What’s up people? Honda has released the following video of its new CBR250R. And you know what? Watch out Ninja 250, because this little Honda is coming to the States! Check it out.

The single 249cc cylinder will apparently make 26bhp and 17lb/ft of torque, while the bike itself will weigh in at 373 pounds. Honda says it has introduced the CBR250R "…to spread the unknown joy of riding around the world."

The CBR250R is a little less powerful than the two-cylinder Kawasaki Ninja 250, which makes 32bhp, but the Kawasaki actually makes a hair less torque at 16lb/ft and is slightly heavier.

Price is not currently known, but is estimated to be around £3,999 in the UK. That’s 6,378.05 USD for us, and 6,502.94 CAD for our neighbors up north. Not exactly accurate. Expect Honda to try and rival the Ninja's $3,999 starting price, maybe a bit more as historically Hondas have cost more than Kawasakis.

Stay tuned for more updates.
