Playboy Gets the Girl

Hi guys. I am sure you guys remember the LCR Playboy Honda Fireblade we featured last year. If not, check it out here. The photos featured rider Randy De Puniet, with a nude model next to the Fireblade. Here are more photos for those of you interested.

Now, I am sure you guys thought that the 23-year-old Lauren Vickers was just another paid model. Not quite. She calimed she posed for the shoot for the love of motorcycle racing, and to catch Randy’s attention.

Well guess what? It worked. The Australian Bunny and our Italian rider have been dating ever since. I know what you guys are all thing: Lucky bastard!

Okay, well that’s it for celebrity motorcycle gossip. Stay tuned for more updates.

Jorge Lorenzo’s Swarovski Helmet

Posted: 05 Nov 2010 10:00 PM PDT

Hey guys, Jon here again. During tomorrow’s Valencia MotoGP race, Jorge Lorenzo will wear this special one-off crystal-studded helmet to commemorate his world championship. Check it out.

The helmet took 96 man-hours to create. The X-Lite X802 helmet itself typically retails for $475. It was hand painted in gold and had 1,800 Swarovski crystals applied to its top in the shape of Lorenzo's logo.

Want one? Well, Jorge Lorenzo's championship-winning, Swarovski crystal-encrusted helmet is on sale. The lavishly decorated Nolan X-802 was listed at £10,300 by the Italian branch of Nolan Helmets. Interested buyers should email: lorenzoworldchampion@nolan.it.

For those of you who can afford it, the gold painted helmet’s 1,800 Swarovski crystals have been given a metallic coating to create a rainbow oil slick appearance. It also has the Lorenzo cross and crescent "Por Fuera" or "Outside Overtaker" symbol that has marked Lorenzo's helmets since he earned the nickname in 2003.
