What’s up people? With Valentino Rossi leaving Yamaha and heading over to Ducati, one would imagine that sponsor Fiat would follow. However, it looks like the Ducati team has found a new automobile sponsor in the form of Mercedes Benz AMG.
The Italian motorcycle manufacturer has always had a highly competitive racing team, despite being a small fraction of the size of its chief rivals. But, with the recent signing of fan-favorite and nine-time World Champion Valentino Rossi, that could give them a huge boost.
Plus, let’s not forget about Nicky Hayden, who carries around his own share of fans, particularly in the United States, which is a crucial market for both Ducati and Mercedes-Benz. As such, it’s not exactly shocking to hear that the German automaker, and more specifically its AMG performance division, has tossed its support and probably a butt-load of cash toward the Bologna-based Ducati MotoGP team.

Crash Testing Motorcycle Airbags

Hey guys, Jon here again. Looks like the motorcycle suit airbag war is progressing along nicely. The video below is from Bering. Here’s the funny part. The stuntman in the video didn't sacrifice himself for scientific testing, just a press demo. Check it out.
Yes, media relations is a tough job, but someone had to do it. Don’t worry, the stuntman was fine.
The scooter? Not so much!
