Mercedes Benz India has crossed a magnificent number of 30000 car units locally assembled in India at its Indian assembly plant. Mercedes started its assembly plant in Indian in the year 1997 and in year 2008 it had crossed 20000 mark. Achieving 30000 mark from 20000 happened in a very rapid way with the growing economy and purchase power increase of the Indian consumer. With this trend rising and popularity of Mercedes Benz in India, it will soon start production in its second shift to assemble more cars to fulfill future demands of Indian car market.
