TV presenter – James May from the BBC’s Top Gear show takes the new Bugatti Veyron Super Sports around an oval ring track and pushes the supercar up to its top speed to see if this new Veyron is actually the fastest production car in the world.
The top speed of the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is officially rated at 415 km/h and its manufacturer says it can get from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. Even more impressive is the fact that the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is able to rocket jump from 0 to 300 km/h in just 16.7 seconds. This amazing performance figures of the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport are made possible by its 8-liter engine developing 1,200 hp and 1,500 Nm of torque. Audi has released a video promoting the new Audi Quattro Concept car, the promo video gives various insights into the birth of the new concept.
The Audi Quattro Concept was unveiled earlier this year at the 2010 Paris auto show, it was created as a celebration of the famous rally car that introduced the all-wheel-drive system to the world. The Audi Quattro Concept is basically a shorter A5 that has been stiffened and lightened. Its powered by a 2.5-liter engine that produces 408 hp and 480 Nm of torque. The official 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of the new Audi Quattro is rated at 3.9 seconds. No news yet on whether this concept car will hit production. Now watch the Audi Quattro video below. The STARTECH Land Rover Defender 90 Yachting comes with a bright white exterior paint job, sits on a set of 265/75 R 16 tires and features a SVX front grille and headlight covers that comes in the same color as the rest of the SUV. a navy blue leather/Alcantara interior that includes the foot wells and trunk clad. The navy blue interior of the STARTECH Land Rover Defender 90 Yachting includes Recaro sport seats, re-styled side panels and wood cladding floor. Jay Leno’s latest video shows the American presenter checking out the new Audi R8 Spyder in his garage. Mr. Leno looks over the open top supercar, takes it for a spin in the city and sends Justin Bell out with the car to see how it performs on the open country roads in California.
The Audi R8 Spyder is powered by a 5.2-liter V10, FSI gasoline direct injection engine that produces 525 hp. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds and has a top speed of 194mph (313 km/h). The Audi R8 Spyder canvas soft-top only requires 19 seconds to open or close, now watch the video below to see what Jay Leno thinks of the supercar convertible.
