When people talk about fast & exotic cars Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin etc are some of the topics comprising these talks but we guess most of the car enthusiasts must be missing out on one brand which is equally potent and is extremely popular across other global market. It is neither less than Ferrari nor slower than Aston Martin.
Maserati is the brand we are talking about and people who own one of their products always adore them for their top notch engineering and extremely luxurious offerings. One of the biggest automobile manufacturer Fiat owns the same along with Ferrari and is eagerly waiting to launch Maserati line-up in India after Ferrari's official launch, within the next 6 months.
No news regarding the line-up from the brand is out but it is expected that Maserati Quattroporte, Maserati GranCabrio and Maserati GranTurismo series will be comprising the same. Maserati Gran Turismo series sports a 4.7 Litre V8 engine generating 450 bhp of maximum power and 510Nm of maximum torque and sprints from 0 to 100km/h in 4.6 seconds.
Maserati Quattroporte is is fitted with the familiar 4.2 litre 400 hp V8 engine, while the Quattroporte S adopts the new 4.7 litre 430 hp V8 recently introduced on the Maserati GranTurismo S.
Coming to the Maserati GranCabrio, this beast is equipped with a V8 heart generating peak power of 440bhp and all these three machines are loaded enough to give its foes a good run for their money.
Maserati Line-Up Price In India
All the three cars are expected to fall in the price range of 1 to 1.5 crore and this pricing will be competitive enough to go head on with the expensive brands selling their products in India.

Its been a while since Tata came up with the Tata Nano known as the Common Man's car and succeeded in touching more than a billion Indians' heart. The fact remains that people can afford a car but if someone isn't good at driving then he/she will definitely be scared while driving a car irrespective of its price.
We are not criticizing Nano but we simply want to state here that till date no Automatic Transmission model of the same has been introduce to make driving a lot more easy and fun for people who are amateurs including aged people who some or the other way shed an appreciable amount of money for this piece of machine.
Times are going to change now since it is being reported that Tata Motors is in talks with a Canadian form for developing a CVT(Continuously Variable Transmission) for the car.
"Tata has already invested huge amount in Canada’s Quebec province and is in the process of signing a deal for supply of parts for gearless Nano with C-tech, a Montreal-based auto component maker." said Benoit-Jean Bernard, director Quebec office, Counsulate General of Canada in Mumbai.
The company is in coordination of the Canadian firm for the past two years and it is being sourced that the deal has already been signed between the two. From here on we are extremely excited to get confirmation about the same and wish that if launched, this new model should bring a lot more content to the company.
