GWA Tuning Ciento Once

A North American company called GWA Tuning has revealed several images of the Ciento Once, a revival of the famous Mercedes Gullwing prototype from the 70s.

The original vehicle was powered by a Wankel diesel engine and only a few units were ever built.

The GWA Tuning Ciento Once has a tubular space frame chassis and is powered by a mid mounted Mercedes V12 engine that produces 408 hp. Sending the power to the wheels is a 6-speed Cima H type transaxle transmission.

The GWA Tuning Ciento Once is also equipped with a special tuned exhaust system, a coil-over suspension system, and a braking system taken of a Mercedes S55.

This gullwing sports car features a handmade aluminum body, an electric-operated rear adjustable wing, and aerodynamically functional rear diffuser and front spoiler. It weighs only 1,400 kg and when combined with 400 horses, it should offer plenty of performance.

The interior of the GWA Tuning Ciento Once features carbon fiber seats, brushed aluminum pedals and illuminated door sills. The car also rides on the same wheel-tire setup as the Mercedes SLS AMG (19×9 wheels with 265/35/19 tires at the front and 20×11 wheels with 295/30/20 tires at the rear.)
