Lexus IS-F Club

At the Tokyo Auto Salon 2011, annual survey on the world of tuning of the Rising Sun, Lexus has set out five-show car, designed with the aim to enhance the brand’s sporty side. The cars were the IS-F Club Circuit Sports Racer, the IS-F Club Performance Accessories, Racing Gazoo the LFA, the F CT 200h Sport models and a particular interpretation of the flagship LS 460.

The IS-F Club Circuit Sports Racer is different from the starting model for the numerous carbon fiber body panels, such as appendices wing, the engine hood and the luggage. For the rest debut a full roll-cage, in polycarbonate glazing, the dashboard, console and door panels in fiber. To complete the picture of the six-point belts and a small steering wheel with paddle solidarity.

Not only aesthetic though: the Club Circuit Sports Racer also benefits from the introduction of suspension, brakes, cooling, exhaust and mechanical limited slip racing, as well as forged aluminum wheels and slick tires.

Mazda has released new photographs of the Mazda 5, 7 seater MPV renewed presented at the Geneva Motor Show 2010. The car was again updated with the introduction of the new engine 1.6 MZ-CD EUR 5 115 hp, capable of 270 Nm of torque between 1750 and 2500 rpm. This version is capable of an average consumption of 5.2 l/100 km and 138 g / km of CO2, a reduction of almost 15% of consumption than the previous version 2-liter diesel. The petrol version may instead rely on 2-liter MZR 2.0 DISI direct-injection with start-stop, capable of 150 hp and 191 Nm of torque and an average of 6.9 l/100 km, with emissions of 159 g / km. At the base of the range is also offered a 1.8 petrol 115 bhp, available only in setting up five places, declaring an average consumption of 7.2 l/100 km.

The new Mazda 5 is 4.58 meters long, 1.75 wide and 1.61 high, with a wheelbase of 2.75 meters. Power sliding doors giving access to 3 rows of seats that offer a variety of configurations, thanks to the folding of the seats (karakuri system). The trunk has a capacity ranging from 112 up to 1485 liters in 7-seater version, but keeping the already classic 5 places available space is 538 liters.

BMW X1 xDrive28i 2.0 TwinPower Turbo

BMW launches new X1 xDrive28i leading to the debut of the new 2.0 Turbo TwinPower: This is a new 4-cylinder petrol engine with direct injection pressure of 200 bar (or “High Precision Injection”as a technical dictionary of Monaco), equipped with a turbocharger with twin-scroll and Valvetronic technology, electronic system for variable valve lift. So set up the new engine delivers Munich well 245 hp at 5000 rpm and its 350 Nm of torque at just 1250rpm. Its base is made of aluminum and can be combined with 6-speed manual transmission or the automatic mode to 8. Of course, the engine makes all its technologies of BMW Efficient Dynamics program, such as the Start / Stop.

The performance of the X1 xDrive28i are very respectable: the house said the average consumption of 7.9 litres/100 km (9.9 l/100 km in urban and 6.7l/100 km out of town) and CO2 emissions of 183 g / km (€ 5). Mazda Minagi Concept
