Finally the Chevrolet Beat LPG has made its way through our market and has been launched. Eversince other manufacturers started off selling their successful products along with LPG or CNG kits, it became a concern for Chevrolet to make the same move in order to sustain the increasing competition.

And now the brand is extremely happy introducing Chevrolet Beat with an appreciable number of changes making it suit every type of Indian buyer. Beat has done a wonderful job in catapulting the brand to a position where it was supposed to be well ahead of the car's launch but destiny wanted Beat to do this job and with the new LPG variant things are expected get a lot better.

The car has been priced between Rs.4.10 and Rs.4.53 Lakh( Ex-Showroom Mumbai) and comes with an all new 1.2 Litre SMARTECH engine especially developed for the Indian market. Besides the standard 3 year – 100,000 kilometer warranty the company is also offering a 3 year/45,000 km cashless ownership.

Mahindra Logan has been an exceptionally good sedan and offers true value for money but maybe because of its not so appealing design, the car's sales have not been as considerable as expected at its launch. Moreover the company has also not come up with anything different so as to attract more buyers and all these do influence the car's sales.

Its been long since we heard about a 5-seater Mahindra Xylo from Mahindra & Mahindra and now after almost 6 months the company is in the news for its new two variants of Logan due for this year. The most unique thing about the new Logans will be the removal of Renault badges since both the former partners have dissolved their joint venture.

Mahindras have already bought Renault's stake in the venture and will soon be disassociating the latter's name from all its dealerships and surprisingly the company could also opt for a new name for Logan. The success of the company's strategy is very much justified by the step it took of reducing Logan's price by 80,000, eventually raising its sales from 303 units in April 2010 to 1,120 units in January 2011.

Now the question arises that what the brand will offer with the new variants? To this question there are more speculations than any sure answers. According to automobile gurus, the company could go for one completely re-styled and one more cheaper one, but what is in the company's mind is completely untouched and unexplored.

The new logan would go head one with current and upcoming sedans like Tata Indigo Manza CS and new Maruti Swift DZire.

Mercedes-Benz is doing exceptionally well in the Indian market and has launched a couple of new models of the existing cars during the past months which have not only attracted more sales figures but also succeeded in building a better relationship with the customers.

Recent models of cars like Mercedes C-class, Mercedes E-Class etc. are being adored across the country and have a unique road presence. The company's profile in the Indian market has been good enough and offers a rich line-up for the sedan segment but for the SUV segment only Mercedes M-Class is there to go head on with extremely tough competitors like Audi Q7 and BMW X5.
