Mahindra Xylo Compact 5-Seater SUV Launch Expected In June 2011

Mahindra & Mahindra is going extremely well as far as sales are concerned with products like Mahindra Logan and Mahindra Xylo and had been working on extracting the maximum amount of sales by working on new strategies and models. One of the upcoming products from the same was previously spied and recognized as a compact variant of Mahindra Xylo and had been caught testing again.

The car is a tripped down version of Xylo 7-seater and will accommodate 5 persons at a time. We had covered a news concerned with the scoop pictures of Mahindra Xylo compact back in June and as per the latest news the compact variant's launch is expected in June 2011.

Mahindra & Mahindra's official word says, "We got a bit delayed but are trying to launch the compact Xylo by mid-2011. Sharing platforms across models reduces development costs and increases scale of manufacturing through common components"

Mahindra Xylo Compact Specifications In India

Expectedly the car will fall under the 4-meter category with enormous cabin space when compared to a mid-sized sedan. It is also said to be sporting a 3-cylinder CRDI heart with a displacement of 1500CC. The reason for this smaller version is to fill the space in the small car band which should have got filled earlier and we could also see a dual cab pickup model of the same soon after its official launch.

Cadillac CTS-V Luxury Sedan India Launch In 2012–Specifications Features & Price

Cadillac is one of the most sophisticated and iconic brands in existence across many of the well developed automobile markets and the cars that the brand offers are meant to be loved more than they are driven. This brand has its own charm which is unmatched and more importantly their products have a very distinguished road presence.

Unlike Mercedes-Benz, BMW or Audi, Cadillac's products are quite uncommon but since our market is emerging very rapidly, the company may not have to face the hardships establishing their roots in it. Chevrolet who is achieving new heights everyday with cars like Chevrolet Beat and Chevrolet Cruze will assist Cadillac while entering India and all this is expected to happen in the year 2012.

Karl Slym, the president of GM India, had commented on GM's Cadillac plans for India and here are his words, "Our Chevrolet brand is doing extremely well as every 8 seconds somebody buys our cars. This is a good indicator and India is a growing market with the demand for luxury cars growing…we are looking at introducing our premium brand, Cadillac over the next couple of years. Cadillac is a luxury brand and people in India have a brand recall for the same. We have also done a study and have found that it will not be difficult for us to launch the iconic brand in the country"

Although nothing is transparent right now about which cars will be introduced initially but expectedly Cadillac CTS-V Sedan will make its debut. Other than this luxury sedan, Cadillac CTS-V Coupe could also make its place in the line-up.
