Volkswagen Darth Vader commercial bloopers: Video

Due to the huge success of the 2012 Volkswagen Passat Darth Vader commercial which aired during the Super Bowl XLV, the company has released this follow up video showing some of the bloopers.


The boy who stars in the commercial is Max Page and he’s got some solid acting credentials including a role on The Young and Restless soap opera. Page is also known for having been born with a congenital heart defect that has required care at the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles.

BMW Vision ConnectedDrive Concept unveiled

BMW has revealed a new two-seat roadster concept car called the BMW Vision ConnectedDrive, this new car is due to debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show on March the first.


BMW has released no information about this new concept car other than its a demonstration of current and future methods of mobile networking.

Nissan Esflow Concept Car: Video

Nissan recently unveiled the Esflow concept at this year’s Chicago auto show and now they have followed up by releasing this short video of the new concept car.


The Nissan Esflow Concept is an all electric sports car, it can accelerate from 0-60 in under 5 seconds, and has a range of 150 miles. The Esflow is based on the same technology that is found in the all electric Nissan Leaf, it’s got two motors that independently drive the rear wheels as well as the same laminated lithium-ion battery packs as the current Leaf.

Future Vehicle Renderings by Scott Robertson

Concept Designer – Scott Robertson has released a book titled Drive which expresses his ideas on what he thinks the future of transportation may look like.


This new book, DRIVE features artwork that is thought provoking, beautiful, aggressive and is something that is sure to peak the minds of car enthusiasts the world over.

In the past Scott Robertson has done work for BMW, Mattel Toys, Universal Studios, Rockstar Games and Fiat just to name a few. The book is set in a 9″ x 11″ landscape format and contains over 300 illustrations in its 176 pages. Below are some of Scott’s renderings that appear in the book Drive.

Photos of the 2012 Shelby GT350 Convertible at Chicago Show

We reported last week that Shelby unveiled their new 2012 GT350 at the Chicago auto show and now we have some high resolution photos of the muscle car from the show.


Shelby had three Mustang Gt350s on display at the show, two convertibles in Race Red and Kona Blue colors and a hard top in the traditional Winner White.

Incase you missed our article last week here is a little refresher:

The Shelby GT350 is based on the Ford Mustang GT, the performance specs will be the same as the 2011 model with customers being able to choose from a 430 HP normally aspirated engine, a 525 HP supercharged powerplant or a 624 HP supercharged version. An automatic transmission is optional with the normally aspirated engine, as well as a short throw shifter for the manual.





Shelby have also introduced two new body colors (red and blue) and they will be available on the 2012 models. The company will only be producing 350 units of 2012 Shelby GT350.
