Force motors is working in it Force Explorer SUV for quite some time and there has been few delays in the launch, but finally its expected to hit the Indian roads in the month of May 2011. There are news coming from various sources about the pricing of the SUV. The prices will start around Rs. 10 Lakhs and will go up to Rs. 15 Lakhs for high end variants. The details will be more clear around May 2011 on the official launch. It will be powered by a Mercedes Benz engine and design and other elements have been finished with the help of Lotus Engineering UK.

Volvo has recently launched its luxury sedan in India, the Volvo S60 in two engine options and overall three options. The Luxury brand Volvo is impressed with the sales of luxury cars in India. The BMW and Mercedes Benz have been clocking good sales for quite some time and with the economy going upside, the luxury car market is also growing quickly. Not to wait too much and loose, Volvo has decided to increase its presence in India by opening 5 new dealerships across India. This will increase the total number of dealerships to 12 which is currently only 7 in India. These new dealerships have been strategically placed at the metropolitan locations which are – Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Jaipur and Ahmedabad. The existing 7 dealerships of Volvo India are located at – New Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kochi and Pune.

Expanding its dealership network will help Volvo to strengthen its presence in India, Volvo also hopes to increase the sales with the latest offering Volvo S60 which is a wonderful package of luxury and power priced between Rs. 27 Lakhs and Rs. 34 Lakhs. The Volvo cars are known well for their safety features and the S60 also packs a lot of innovative safety features built in standard.

Tata Motors Thailand will launch the Tata Nano Europa, a premium variant of Tata Nano in Thailand by the end of the year 2011. The deliveries of Tata Nano in Thailand will start in early 2012. The Nano to be sold in Thailand will be fitted with premium features like electric power steering, ABS, etc. which are missing from the low cost car in India. Europa will feature the comfort and safety features as per the local needs of Thailand and it will compete with small cars from Honda and Nissan.
