Paris Hilton Gets Lexus LFA for 30th Birthday

Paris Hilton has recently been given a $375,000 Lexus LFA supercar for her 30th birthday, the present was given to her by boyfriend Cy Waits.

The Lexus LFA is powered by a V10 that kicks 560 hp and 354 lb.-ft. of torque and now Paris Hilton is one of the lucky 500 who own this supercar.

Suzuki Recalls Grand Vitara and Suzuki SX4

Owners of a 2009 to 2011 Suzuki Grand Vitara or a 2010 to 2011 Suzuki SX4 are being contacted by Suzuki for a recall of approximately 32,300 vehicles to repair a potentially defective tension adjuster pulley.

This pulley is what holds the drive belt in place which runs the alternator, water pump, air conditioner and power steering pump. If this pulley were to fail it would result in drivers losing power steering, getting a flat battery and also a risk of the engine overheating.

Suzuki Dealers will replace the pulley with a heavier-duty version when the recall begins later this week.

If you own one of the affected vehicles and have noticed a warning light on the dash (probably the battery warning light) or have experienced a squealing noise under the hood that wasn't there before, then arrange a service appointment as soon as possible. BMW has released a new documentary called Reinventing Mobility which discusses the future of motoring.

The experts, scientists, entrepreneurs and futurists interviewed in the film believe that electricity and hydrogen will power us in the future, and insist that all vehicles will be connected to each other and the road and traffic infrastructure around them.

As good as that sounds there will be a number of people who are reluctant to let go of their Independence and the sound of a throaty V8 engine.
