Here is another blast from the past for you, it’s a classic car commercial featuring the iconic Volkswagen Beetle. In the ad the presenter actually drives the bug into a lake to prove how well built the car is and to show that it floats, they certainly don’t make commercials like this anymore.

The ultimate driving simulator that allows you to race your own car

An Australian company by the name of Tag systems has created a unique driving simulator which can be played using your very own car. The company set up the simulator in Jay Leno’s Garage, rigged up his Corvette to the system and let him it for a spin through different scenarios.

With this new driving simulator you can now take your car to a racetrack, drive it flat out through city streets and even race it against your friends ride.

The simulator works by strapping your car onto a special rolling road, an exhaust extractor is positioned behind your car and a massive cooling fan is blasted at you from the front.

Watch the video below which shows Jay Leno trying out this new advanced driving simulator.

Now as cool as this seems I am sure this is going to burn away your fuel pretty quickly but after seeing how much fun Jay Leno had in the simulator maybe it is worth it.

Lexus has recently announced that they will be creating a sportier version of the IS 350C F, this Lexus IS 350C F sport special edition will hit Lexus dealerships later this year.

The 2011 Lexus IS 350C Special Edition will be available in two colors, Starfire Pearl or Obsidian and also includes a set of 19-inch forged alloy wheels with dark graphite finish wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires.

The ride height is lower by inch thanks to a Bilstein suspension system, other features includes; a sway bar, Bi-Xenon High Intensity Headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lights, and exterior badging.

Lexus Division group vice president and general manager – Mark Templin, had this to say about the new edition:

“The F Sport Special Edition builds on the IS 350C and takes the fun of the convertible up another notch,”. “The racing inspired F Sport accessories on this car were precision engineered specifically for this vehicle, allowing us to provide performance without compromise.”

The 2011 Lexus IS 350C F Sport Special Edition comes with a price tag of $55,120.
