Mark Webber Drives A Porsche 911 GT2 RS

Formula one pilot – Mark Weber has recently purchased a Porsche 911 GT2 RS, being one of the fastest drivers in the world he could have chosen any supercar and decided to go for the most powerful 911 Porsche have ever made.

The 911 GT2 RS is the fastest road-going car that Porsche has ever built, it produces 620 horsepower and has managed to lap the Nürburgring race track in 7:18, which makes the car faster around the ring than a Ferrari Enzo or a Pagani Zonda F Clubsport.

The video below shows an interview with Mark Weber along with him taking a few lucky competition winners for a high speed lap around the UK’s Silverstone Race track in a Porsche 911 GT2 RS.

Lexus LFA Nürburgring Package comes with extra horsepower

If you thought the Lexus LFA was already an awesome supercar then you should check out this Nürburgring upgrade package for the LFA. Lexus have taken this supercar one step further by squeezing out a few more horses from the V10 and creating a unique look for this special edition package.

The Lexus LFA Nürburgring manages to kick out an extra 10 horses giving it a higher 562 hp than the standard model. Lexus have also tweaked the transmission to reduce the gear shift time from .20 seconds to .15 seconds.

The LFA Nürburgring package is only available in four exterior colors: Matte Black, Black, White or Orange, and has three interior color schemes — Black and Red, Black and Purple, and all Black. Other features include a carbon fiber center console, door trims and carbon fiber bucket seats trimmed in Alcantara.

Every customer who purchases the Lexus LFA Nürburgring package will each be offered individual instruction on the Nordschleife by one of the Nürburgring chief instructors and will also receive a one year pass for Nordschleife driving.

Here is what Lexus had to say about the special edition LFA:

To improve track driving even further, the aerodynamic performance of the LFA with the Nürburgring package will be modified through revisions and additions to several key carbon fibre reinforced plastic components. Combining to offer improved high speed downforce, these modifications include a larger front spoiler, fin-type side spoilers, canard fin, and a fixed rear wing.

In terms of handling modifications, the Nürburgring package LFA will include a sports tuned suspension, a vehicle height reduction of 10mm, exclusive mesh-type wheels and dedicated, high-grip tyres.

Lexus will be producing just 50 LFA Nurburgrings and the price for one of these special editions will be $445,000, thats around $75,000 more than a standard LFA.
