Land Rover Reveals 2011 Range Rover – Specifications, Features & Price

A few months back Tata bagged two of the world's most popular brands, Jaguar and Land Rover which certainly carry the potential to stun its competitors with their global line-ups and after the launch of Jaguar XJ,Land Rover has also moved one step further with the global launch of 2011 Range Rover.

Range Rover as we know is one dream SUV which every lover would wish to see in his/her porch and is seen sometimes on the Indian roads with big shots sitting at the back seat.

Specifications & Features Of 2011 Range Rover

Styling

The conventional styling has been retained with hardly any changes made to the overall design and the new Jupiter grille and side vents do not appeal much. The look of the new Range Rover has been left untouched and the base model isn't attractive at all but to bring charm one can opt for Exterior Design Pack which features:-

Revised Front Bumper with Fog Lamp Surrounds
Front Grille and side vents in Titan finish
Revised Side Sills
Rear Bumper with Stainless Steel Exhaust Finishers
And Choice of eight body colors including Fuji White (replacing Alaska White) and Baltic Blue (replacing Buckingham Blue)

Engine

The car is available with the previously coming V8 engine generating 510BHP but if you really wish to buy an evolved variant then go for the new 4.4 Litre Turbo Diesel CRDI unit which generates a maximum power 313PS and a maximum torque of 700Nm.

The fuel consumption for this new baby is near to 30.1mpg with CO2 emissions of 253 grams per kilometer.

Transmission

The new 4.4 Liter unit will be coupled with ZF 8HP70 8-speed automatic transmission while the top end 5.0-litre LR-V8 variant still comes with the ZF HP28 6-speed automatic transmission.
