Fiat India Will Sell Cars In Neighboring Countries

Fiat India will soon export Made In India Fiat cars like Fiat Grande Punto, Fiat Linea and Fiat Palio to neighboring countries like Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Nepal from its Maharashtra facility located at Ranjangaon.

It will start exporting by the end of year 2010. Fiat is already exporting cars to South Africa.

The two wheeler segment is seeing a lot of evolvement whose credit goes to all the companies including those which have entered the two wheeler business and are doing well in the four wheeler sector as well. Bajaj, Suzuki , Mahindra & Mahindra, Honda are a few names which have given this market a new name and are still contributing for its further advancement.

LML(Lohia Machinery Limited) Vespa was one of the emerging two wheeler makers at the time when Bajaj Chetak & Super used to be the only personal vehicles, but soon phased out of the market as every other maker switched to better two wheelers now called as Motorcycles.

A while back we informed about the plans of Piaggio to bring the brand Vespa back in India and the latest news has turned the plan into a reality. Vespa is planning to set up a plant in Maharashtra worth $38 million for manufacturing the Vespa LX125 which it wishes to sell in India initially.

The company seeks the same level of interest and love for the new LX-125 as it experienced in its early years in the Indian automobile market and we do hope for the same.

Toyota's small car is about to go on full swing production and is not far from its initial launch around the end of year 2010. To further explore the possibilities of increasing sales, Toyota is also serious about launching CNG and LPG variants of Toyota Etios sometime after the Petrol and Diesel Etios is launched.

This is not it, Toyota is also looking into a possibility of working out a hybrid variant of Etios, but that may not be launched in near future and may not be launched if will not make much business sense. This decision maybe taken after monitoring sales figures of Etios sometime after the initial Petrol and Diesel Etios Launch.
