Belcar: W Racing Team tops a very wet Zolder qualifying

10 Hours of Zolder, W Racing Team, Audi R8 LMS

While we woke up to a beautiful Saturday morning, our fearless photog Luc is at the 10 Hours of Zolder. A very wet Circuit Zolder! The forecast calls for heavy rain and winds, which should make for an interesting 10 hours.

Qualification took place this morning with everyone looking on to see which championship contender would come out on top. The best time was set by Marcel Fassler in the WRT Audi R8 LMS. He hit a 1.54.478 around the Loft course. Greg Franchi and Anthony Kumpen will round out the team. Gallery after the jump!

Points leaders, Marc Goosens, set the second fastest time with a 1.55.014 in the Prospeed 911 GT3-R. Maxime Soulet and Richard Westbrook will share duties over the 10 hours.
