Nissan Micra Diesel India Launch Before Christmas – Specifications

Nissan has acquired a significant pace after the introduction of Nissan Micra in India which were earlier absent and to add a bit more to this increasing pace is the launch of the Nissan Micra DIesel variant. As expected the Diesel variant will also be followed by Nissan Micra Automatic variant.

When asked to the company officials, one of them said, "We have recently stated that the Micra Diesel will be launched before Christmas this year" Now that the company has almost confirmed the news, the car is eagerly awaited and is expected to do great as well.

Specifications Of Nissan Micra Diesel Variant

The car is expected to adopt Renault Logan's 1.5 Litre CRDI diesel engine producing a maximum power of 70BHP and a maximum torue of 160Nm. Fuel economy will fall near 20 to 25 kmpl but the actual details will only be revealed at its launch.

Tata being the only manufacturer to come up with the world's cheapest car Tata Nano has evoked the competitive instincts of some of the most potent manufacturers across the globe. The car is speculated to be priced between Rs.1.5 Lakh to Rs. 2 Lakh when brought to India.

This Diwali Tata has come up with an extremely attractive plan for selling Tata Nano which no one can resist for sure. Tata is now offering a Nano in exchange for your old motorcycle and that too at the lowest equal monthly installments possible.

The deal is definitely a fair one and helping the company in this more connective strategy is State Bank Of India (SBI). Nano is available without any booking in some of the states and all dealers will be offering the same with EMIs as low as Rs.1960.

Initially the company will offer only the petrol variant in exchange and the Tata Nano CNG and Tata Nano Diesel variant will follow later. The plan seems to be very amusing in a way and if the new idea works, the company's sales might go even higher.

Harley Davidson Motorcycles Prices Will Go Down With Assembly In India

On the occasion even Matthew S. Levatich, Harley-Davidson president and chief operating officer could not control his content and said, "We are delighted to announce the company's plans to establish assembly operations in India. CKD assembly operations are a natural next step for Harley-Davidson as we increase our ability to meet the needs of India's consumers."

"This investment will allow Harley-Davidson to improve our market responsiveness and production flexibility while reducing the tariff burden, which we expect will drive growth over time by making our bikes more accessible to India's consumers. Given the strong response we have received in the initial months of retail operations, we believe this is the right investment for this important market" he added further.

The CKD operations will take place at an assembly facility near Bawal in Haryana and once it goes operational, no time will be wasted for importing CKD kits for selected current models while the rest of the models will be sold as CBU units.

India is the second largest two wheeler market after China and companies with new set up plans are always welcomed as they will not only flourish but will help India grow as well.
