New Top Gear USA Trailer: Video

The launch of the US version of Top Gear is drawing ever closer and now the History channel has released a new trailer of the series showing some of the events to come as well as the opinions of the presenters.


Top Gear USA will go on air on the History Channel on Sunday, November the 21st, 2010. The presenters will be Adam Ferrara, Tanner Foust and Rutledge Wood but still no word on whether the American show will have their own Stig.

The South american division of the French car maker – Renault has released the first images of the Renault Sandero Stepway Concept. The new concept car was recently unveiled at the Brazilian motor show in Sao Paulo.


The Renault Sandero Stepway Concept will have a higher ride height in comparison to the standard model, and will feature various design elements for off-road duty. These could include various mud guards and other trim parts.

Corvette goes skinny dipping: Video

A couple of show offs took their bright yellow rented Corvette onto the beach at Law Street in Pacific Beach, San Diego, CA. After showing off with some donuts on the sand they lost control and ended up in the sea.


The video below doesn’t actually show the incident but we get to see the Corvette taking a swim.

2011 Volkswagen Eos Exclusive

German company Volkswagen has released the details of the 2011 Volkswagen Eos Exclusive program which offers various optional extras for the new version of the cabriolet. The 2011 Volkswagen Eos Exclusive offers new, two-tone leather, front seats and various aluminum interior trim parts.


The new front seats of the 2011 Volkswagen Eos Exclusive come covered in Nappa leather that has a color option of either Chocolate, Titanium Black or Pepper White. The door panels, sports steering wheel, gear lever and hand brake lever also receive leather coverings.

The interior also includes various aluminum trim parts and a black piano lacquer radio panel.

For the exterior, the 2011 Volkswagen Eos Exclusive program offers black-sheen 18-inch alloy wheels, and a sport suspension.

Brazil’s first supercar Rossin-Bertin Vorax unveiled

The first ever Brazilian supercar was recently unveiled at the 2010 Sao Paulo auto show in Brazil and its name – Rossin-Bertin Vorax. Fortunately we were there at the show and able to get a few shots of the car.


The Rossin-Bertin Vorax features a carbon fiber body over an aluminum chassis and is powered by a naturally aspirated BMW V10 engine which kicks out 570 horsepower. A superchargered is also available which develops a higher 750 hp.

The standard V10 version accelerates up to 62mph in 3.8-second and has a top speed of 205mph (329km/h). The supercharged motor has a better acceleration time of 3.6 and its 180 extra horsepower pushes the car up to a much higher top speed of 231mph (371km/h).

Range Rover Evoque launch at Paris: Video

British 4×4 manufacturer, Land Rover launched the new Range Rover Evoque at the 2010 Paris auto show earlier and as a follow up they have released the video showing the build up to launch as well as the final unveiling.


The video includes the various wire-frame art items that were displayed in different locations in Paris and also gives you a chance to see the Range Rover Evoque launch that took place. The company has only unveiled the 3-door version of the Range Rover Evoque, however, a 5-door version will be unveiled soon. The new Range Rover Evoque 5dr has already been presented at a private event, which means its launch is now a certainty.

Lamborghini Murcielago Bat LP 640 by JB Car Design

German car tuners, JB Car Design have released information on their latest upgrade package for the Lamborghini Murcielago and its called the Bat LP 640. This new JB Lamborghini Murcielago Bat LP 640 includes a custom body kit and a performance upgrade. It will be limited to 75 units worldwide and will be priced at 28’500 Euros.


The body kit of the JB Lamborghini Murcielago is inspired by the Reventon and the 2011 model year factory model and includes a new front bumper with side air intakes, carbon fiber front lip spoiler, headlight covers, side skirts, a new rear bumper with side air outlets and a new carbon rear diffuser. The exterior comes coated in 6 layers of enamel primer and a high solid clear varnish.

To finish off the supercar sits on a set of three-piece 20″ alloy wheels which color matches the body.

The car tuners have manged to boost the hp of the standard engine from 710 hp up to a more powerful 750hp.

Bat LP 640 – Lamborghini by JB Car Design

JB Car Design could not get better motivation than Lamborghini Murcielago. This is not the new race car from Lamborghini; it is a truly compatible sports car based on the Murcielago. The standard version already features a great convincing performance and a design that is hard to beat. The LP 640 from JB Car Design has a new outfit. The Carbon Aero Kit LP 640 is limited to 75 pieces worldwide, made in Germany, and is offered by JB Car Design including assembly and painting at the price of 28500 Euro. The painting consists of 6 layers of enamel primer matched to body color and comes with high solid clear varnish (from 9700 Euro). The design of the Aero Kit LP 640 represents a mix of the Reventon limited edition and the new Murcielago (2011 model).

The package consists of a front bumper with side air intakes, carbon fiber front lip spoiler, carbon fiber headlight covers, side skirts, rear bumper with side air outlets and carbon rear diffuser. If you want to go further, order also a two-piece carbon fiber rear spoiler, which is responsible not only for the improved optics and for an even greater down force on the rear axle and an underbody ground-effect optimization at the price of 2800 Euro.

The LED headlights including dim lights, interior and engine compartment lighting, indicator lights and door emitter are offered by JB Car Design for 970 Euro.

The experienced tuners have also upped the engine power to 750 hp. The performance increase up to 750 hp is offered at the price of 28500 Euro, the standard version with performance increase "only" to 710 hp costs 19500 Euro.

To complete the tuning package for the Lamborghini Murcielago, JB Car Design offers exclusive, three-piece 20″ alloy wheels at the price from 8700 Euro.
This sports car is perceived as such owing to a controlled exhaust system along with sport catalysts and headers.

The interior is garnished with a noble bicolor leather or Alcantara, at the price of 9700 Euro. There is also a steering wheel with airbag 32 cm or 34 cm in diameter for 1970 Euro. A high-end sound system with additional subwoofer and amplifier complete the whole image.
