Hi guys, good news. For those of you old or mature enough to ride practical machines, you’re really going to love this. Honda has decided to bring back their much loved CBR600F all-rounder for 2011. Check it out.
It was dropped from the range back in 2006, due to the popularity of the CBR600RR. But now that the 600cc sportbike war has somewhat subsided due to the economy, the need for a middle weight all-rounder is back.
The new bike will use the current Hornet's engine and chassis, and boasts an entirely new look courtesy of Honda's Italian design house.
Just because it’s more comfortable, don’t thumb your nose at it just yet. The engine is derived from the CBR600RR, and it makes 100bhp at 12,000rpm and 47lb/ft at 10,500rpm. So, it's going to be revvy and exciting to use. The whole bike weighs 198kg/436lbs, wet.
And just like the Hornet, it appears that ABS is optional. Stay tuned for more updates.
