Nissan has launched its small car Nissan Micra in India which is doing decently fine in sales especially after the launch of Nissan Micra Diesel in December 2010. But lately, Nissan feels that there is still a segment which is of the cars smaller and cheaper than Micra which is growing at a very rapid pace in India. Nissan has started the Market study for the same and will soon announce the product development and production plans for this small car cheaper than Micra.

Globally Nissan Pixo is another car which Nissan sources from Suzuki, which maybe replaced by the new small car which Nissan is going to develop. Nissan Pixo Aka Maruti A-Star is Nissan branded small car. With its own product in this segment, it will give Nissan a stronger hold in this segment of cars priced between Rs. 3 lakh to Rs. 4 Lakh.

Maruti Kizashi Launch Date In India–28 Jan 2011

Some credible media sources have revealed that Maruti Suzuki is going to launch its sedan Maruti Suzuki Kizashi in India on 28th January 2011. The car will initially come as CBU to India and Maruti may eventually go for local assembly option if the sales numbers are promising enough with time.

In February 2011 Honda will open Honda CBR 250 booking in India. It will start receiving token money for booking, the deliveries will start in April 2011. The pricing of the Honda CBR 250 has not been announced as of now but it is believed that it will take on Ninja 250 in a big way by competitive pricing. We are keeping our eyes on it and will update you as soon as any official information arrives. Update

As per the latest information by Motoriods, Honda will launch the bike on 1st January 2011. The CBR 250R will be available in two variants, with ABS and without ABS. The latter will cost Rs. 1.8 Lakhs while the former will cost Rs. 1.5 Lakhs ex-showroom. Another good part is that booking will be made with a small token money of Rs. 5000 only. An official announcement is expected from Honda by 29th Dec 2010.

Suzuki SX4 Sedan Facelifted For China

Suzuki Motor Corporation has unveiled a facelifted version of Maruti SX4 at 2010 Guangzhou Auto Show in China. It is expected that the next version of Maruti SX4 Diesel which is due for launch in just a few weeks from now, may have these cosmetic upgrades of the facelifted SX4. The cosmetic elements which have undergone a refreshed looks include the front and rear bumpers, new chrome grille, new crystal headlamps, new deeper boot lid, new tail lights extending slightly to the sides. The interiors have also been refreshed in the Chinese variant with a new display, navigation system and safety airbags.
