Posted: 10 Jan 2011 04:58 AM PST The German after market tuners – Anderson have added their special touch to the Audi Q7. This new upgrade package from Anderson offers a power increase along with new visuals for the Audi SUV.
Anderson have taken the V12 TDI version Q7 and increased the horsepower from 500hp up to a more impressive 550hp. The car tuner acheived this by adding a set of air-cleaners and optimizing the ECU. The exterior of the Anderson Audi Q7 has been fitted with a carbon-fiber trim set, which includes a border grill, front and back diffusers, mirror caps, and roof drip moldings. This customized SUV also comes with a new exhaust system, a set of 22 inch wheels, red painted brake calipers and a suspension lowering module. The interior features numerous carbon fiber trim parts, a leather / Alcantara upholstery and LED floor space lighting. For more information read the Anderson press release below. Anderson Press Release:Quite FAMILY-SUITED – Q7 from ANDERSON GERMANY Lets begin with the visible externals for everyone. There is a carbon exterior package to admire for the bordergrill, front- and backdiffusor , the mirrorcaps, and the roof drip moldings. Grill grate and Logos were painted in a shiny black lacquer. Also the salon of the Q7 gives the ipression of full exclusivity. The ventilation edges, the steering wheel, the shift levers, the center console, the speedometer and the radio screen as well as the trim in the doors with carbon applications are coloured opposite in black. The furniture is partly upholsterred with black Alcantara, partly with black leather, whereby in doors and seats white seams provide loosening-up. A dimmable LED floor space lighting fits in front and in the back perfectly into the surrounding field. Even the child seat was improved exclusively and orients itselves in such a way at the design of the interior. Posted: 10 Jan 2011 04:32 AM PST Giant Robot Magazine president – Eric Nakamura presents the Nintendo inspired Giant Robot Scion xB which has been on display at the Zen Garage exhibition in LA.
In 2009 Eric Nakamura was given the opertunity to design a Toyota Scion and his inspiration came from 1980s video games. The car is basically a giant video game, the door knobs of the Giant Robot Scion xB are shaped like giant controller buttons and emit distinct 8 bit sounds when you open the doors. The car starts by pressing an actual video game button and the key of the Nintendo Scion xB is a game cartridge that makes a sound when operated. Nakamura says the Nintendo Scion xB is functional both as a car and a video game console, situated in the main front headlights is a projector that displays the game on a surface in front of the car allowing the occupants to play games. Also another projector is fitted in the rear of the vehicle along 2 games to be played at the same time. Watch the video below with shows Eric Nakamura presenting the Giant Robot Scion xB.
